The alumni of IIIT Sri City are the true brand ambassadors of our Institute. So far, three batches of students have moved out while the 4th batch is about to complete. Many students had a JEE rank of less than 10,000 and had selected IIIT Sri City as the first choice. Many of the Alumni had been very hands-on during their student days at IIIT Sri City. In association with the faculties, they had developed prototypes and published papers in international conferences and journals.
The initial batches of Alumni has been very special as they were involved in almost every stage of institute building activities such as setting up Labs, network design, scheduling of transport, etc. Due to this most of the Alumni are well-known to the faculty and staff members and enjoy a good rapport even after they have completed the program.
Almost 80% of the Alumni have gone for product oriented jobs in companies such as: Amazon, Broadcomm, HSBC, Hyundai Mobis, prominent startups such as SpringML, CeWIT, etc. The remaining students have opted for higher studies, with majority of them pursuing MS in reputed universities such as MIT Media Labs, Florida State University Carnegie Mellon University, IIIT Hyderabad, etc. while some of them pursuing MBA in places such as IIM, Jamnalal Bajaj Institute, etc. In addition, some of them have also started their own start-ups.
