IIIT Sri City National Healthcare Hackathon - 2023

IIIT Sri City Chittoor (IIITS) is an Institute of National Importance under an Act of Parliament. IIITS offers BTech programmes in Computer Science & Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering. The admission to these BTech programmes are purely merit-based, administered through JEE-Main, Govt. of India. The institute offers BTech specializations in AI & ML, Cyber Security, Data Science, Cyber-Physical systems, etc. In addition, our students have expertise in other areas such as Software Engineering, Computer Vision, Data Analytics, IoT, Wireless Communication, Smart Transportation, and others.
Industry Institute Interface is the key requirement for promoting Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the ecosystem. Hackathons have been a tried and tested crowd sourcing strategy in this direction. In line with the continued success of last year's Healthcare Hackathon held during 11-13 November 2022, with 383 teams participating with over 1149 participants solving top issues related to the Indian Healthcare stack. We are coming out with another such event this year.
We are happy to announce the 2nd edition of the hackathon titled “IIIT Sri City- National Healthcare Hackathon - 2023” to create unique solutions to some of the top use-cases in the healthcare sector. By counting on the successful organization of last edition, this year IIIT Sri City partnering with Thryve Digital, Planotech Events & Marketing Pvt Ltd, (www.planotechevents.com ), Sri Madhusudan Sai Institute of Medical Sciences & Research to up-scale the event across all national institutes of eminence, technical institutions, pharmacy, nursing colleges, and medical universities in India.
Details of the hackathon
Title: IIIT Sri City National Health Care Hackathon - 2023
Dates: 08-10 December 2023
Last date for Registration: 03 December 2023, midnight.
Size of the team: 3 - 5 members (only UG/PG/PhD students are allowed to register)
Date of orientation: 7th December 2023, 2:00 PM (It is compulsory for all registered teams to join orientation, further details will be sent to the registered teams separately.)
Mode: Hybrid
(Teams are required to join the inaugural session for important announcements on 8th Dec 2023 either Virtually or at Sri Madhusudan Sai Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Sathya Sai Grama, Muddenahalli, Post – 562101, Chikkaballapur Taluk and District, Karnataka, India or at IIIT Sri City.)

Teams can participate from their location/Interested teams may come to IIIT Sri City, Gnan marg, Sri City 517 646 by 7th December 2023, 12 noon. (Due to limited accommodation, prior confirmation will be sent to candidates about their accommodation by closing hours of 5th December 2023)
Valediction and announcement of winners will be at IIIT Sri City on 10 December 2023.

1st prize INR 3 Lakhs,
2nd prize INR 2 Lakhs,
3rd prize INR 1 Lakh, and additional Consolation prizes*
