Introduction

As the founding Women and Father of the Adventure Club, we vow to adventure as hard as we can by providing ourselves, and anyone else who wants to join, with exciting new adventures to experience during our years at Indian Institution of Information Technology, Sri City.

The foundation of this club was built in the Monsoon 2017 from a handful of students wanting to get the most out of living in a new place by exploring their surroundings and enjoying each others company outside of the Institution environment.

Although originally the club were strictly formed for outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, kayaking, traveling, backpacking, trail biking, biking etc. For the most part we will find activities that are free of charge to make it easier on our tight college student budgets, but if we decide to go on a weekend camping trip or road trip, we may need to have everyone pitch in for gear and such. If the club gets big enough over the years, we may be able to fund raise.

We want students who truly enjoy getting out of the house/apartment/dorm to be active. Basically if you get bored doing the same old thing every weekend and want a fun group of other students of all ages and majors to do things with, this is the club for you.

Aim:- Overall Development

Adventure sports are a great way to build confidence and leadership. Trying new activities and learning beyond what books have to offer go a long way in doing this. It is not only developing a holistic personality but is also very empowering to every individual. It is all about getting out of the comfort zone and walking that extra mile.

The students of Indian Institution of Information Technology, Sri City take up a leadership role under the guidance of trained professionals and experts. This adventure club emphasizes upon not just physical fitness and sports but also aims at building team spirit in a challenging environment through friendship and trust.

In our outbound learning, we aim at consistently helping students gain exposure through experiential learning and work together towards a common goal. This unique combination of learning and adventure makes the effort and experience worthwhile. Outbound activities create awareness and a shift from the common pattern of thought that aids lateral problem solving.

IIITS Adventure Club has many activities such as Kayaking, Trekking, etc., to name a few.

IIITS is the only university to offer and execute such innumerable and exciting adventure activities every year. We look forward to including more such adventurous activities that would motivate students to bridge the gap between study and play. IIITS, who is promoting many such activities for the club, is confident that the activities will enrich the lives of every student and prepare them towards an adventurous future.
